There has always been a close synergy between technology, energy providers and energy users especially in the automotive industry. As technology has evolved, the consumer has in many cases become an energy provider and with the rise of EV the automotive and energy industries are rapidly becoming adjoined. In response to this growth sector, Qi-energy offers a range of mobility solutions aimed at the space between the technology-driven energy industry and the electric vehicle (EV) market. We offer a number of solutions that provide off grid or de-centralized charging for EV’s using solar or wind technology. We also work with stakeholders with EV or automotive fleets to develop mobile charging platforms for vehicle to grid charging. Along with these mobility based solar solutions, we also work with UK based Streetdrone to provide autonomous learning platforms to develop regionalized open source AI.
Along with MIPV, BIPV and off grid solutions Qi-energy is able to provide de-centralized or off grid charging solutions. Normally based around BIPV carpark shading structures with MIPV range extension: we are able to design, build and deliver off grid solutions for commercial and residential applications.
Working with EV charging partners, we are able to design bespoke solar and or wind assisted generation solutions designed around destination charging range. Our solutions include fully designed solar and wind arrays along with robust storage solutions to keep your EV independent from the grid.
Qi-energy have been developing and providing MIPV applications since 2016. We have pioneered the use of CIGS modules in mobile applications but in many cases generation has outweighed practical uses of the energy created.
With recent changes in storage technologies such as Lithium, lead crystal and super-capacitors Qi-energy is now able to provide mobile charging platforms that create and store energy during their operational duties for distribution back to the grid during the night. This revolutionary departure away from traditional static solar is changing the way we think about solar by turning the vehicles on our roads into mobile power stations.
In partnership with UK-based StreetDrone, Qi-energy is able to provide the StreetDrone ONE autonomous-ready platform for learning, testing and R&D. StreetDrone ONE is an autonomous ready EV based on the Renault Twizy and is designed to accelerate self-driving projects and boost tech development programs.
Using the innovative StreetDrone XCU and Autoware, StreetDrone connects you to an open source learning network for faster development and deployment of self-driving programs. Through our relationship with StreetDrone, Qi-energy are able to regionally support the development and implementation of self-driving protocols on a company or ministerial level.
